Bob has performed at many venues, including The Kitano, and Detour, both in New York City, City Café, in Garden City, 69 Wall St., in Huntington, the Oakdale House, in Oakdale, the Old Inlet Inn, in Bellport, the Three Village Inn, in Stony Brook, Café Capri, in Westbury, Jaspers, in New Hyde Park, Montgomery’s, in Glen Cove, and various Barnes & Noble and Borders Books stores. Bob has also played extended engagements at La Grange restaurant in West Islip, the Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island, FL, the Homestead Resort Hotel in Hot Springs, VA, and Asparagii, in Plainview, NY. 

Songs & Styles

Bob’s music is, at its core, low volume, intimate, instrumental piano jazz, with an occasional up-tempo, energetic number. Songs by Henry Mancini, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Johnny Mandel, Frank Loesser, Richard Rogers, Alec Wilder, Bill Evans, Harold Arlen, Duke Ellington, and Jerome Kern. He also includes more modern tunes such those by Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, and the occasional original from his recordings.

Having music at your venue will draw more business by creating an intimate ambiance and enhancing the atmosphere. Bob has a small but loyal following of fans, students, and fellow musicians. He publicizes all of his gigs in person at local businesses, via email, on social media, and on his website. Musicians of all kinds regularly come to sit on his gigs.
